Oleochem Analytics — Malaysia has kept its May export duty for crude palm oil at 8%, though it raised the reference price, a circular on the Malaysian Palm Oil Board website showed earlier this month.
The world’s second-largest palm oil producer calculated a reference price of 4,533.40 ringgit/ton in May, up from 4,331.48 ringgit in April.
Malaysia CPO reference prices have risen for 11 months and Indonesia is heard also raising its export tax and export levy.
